It's unconfirmed for numbers-matching, but we do know it has been given a proper professional rebuilt. So you have a correct Z/28 heart that is a true strong runner. The engine bay has a clean look of a solid investment, and it also means you get to see all the best details. This includes the correct components, like the Winters intake, ribbed valve covers, and pan sealing the air grabber to the fresh air hood. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and long tube headers mean this mighty motor get to exhale with added power and authority. The Muncie four-speed manual transmission gives you firm control of the power, and it feeds a stout Ford 9-inch rear. The rear end is further upgraded with ladder bars, adjustable coilovers, and it's tubbed to accommodate the Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires (the gas tank Is now a fuel cell in the trunk.)
