Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely immaculate 1969 Chevrolet Corvette! This stunning example comes in a brilliant Daytona yellow paint job complemented by a spotless black interior. Powering the Stingray is a 454 cubic inch V8 motor (Tonawanda Block, 365hp, 460tq) with a 4 barrel carburetor mated to a manual transmission. Standard features of the vehicle include power steering, power front disc brakes, functional heat and more. This vehicle comes to us from a private automotive collector who has lovingly cared for this C3 since he was 14 years of age (45+ years of ownership). The vehicle has always been properly stored and maintained. Some of the more recent maintenance includes a new starter, new brakes, new battery wires, new alternator, new plug wires, new oil pump and more all done within the past 500 miles. So, if you have been considering stepping into a muscle car icon you can't go wrong with this C3 Corvette. Please call or email us today for more information. The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is a sports car that was produced from 1967 to 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year. The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it was re-introduced with the release of the C7. Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1969 Chevrolet CORVETTE recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1969 Chevrolet CORVETTE problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
