Major Options / Build: Leather Seats

Additional Description: This Stingray is a late June '67 build date. That is the last year for the second generation Corvette. The 327 V8 engine is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. This American classic was meticulously restored about 9 years ago in its original Goodwood Green color with medium saddle interior. The car has all matching numbers. Service records from the last 2 owners are available.Only 4,293 were produced in this color combination. Total production of '67 Corvettes was 22,940, and of those there were 14,436 convertibles made. The headrest seats were a rare option---only 1,436 had this option. This example also has power steering which is an option that only 5,747 of these cars enjoyed in '67.The car originally had rear exit exhausts, so the side exhausts and side pipes were added to look like original stock. The side exhausts compliment the car and pump out a great sound. This classic's soft top is in perfect, like new, pristine condition in the same color as the saddle leather interior. The interior is a 9 out of 10, all stock, and the seats are as close to 10 as one can get on a car that's over 50 years old.

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1967 Chevrolet CORVETTE recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1967 Chevrolet CORVETTE problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
