Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1948 Chevrolet STYLEMASTER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1948 Chevrolet STYLEMASTER problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster for your consideration. This vintage Chevy is powered by a 350ci V8 crate motor which is paired with a 1982 Chevrolet pick-up 3-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro rear-end. While all of that may sound confusing and complicated, it works together to make an impressively smooth drivetrain. The motor idles smooth, runs strong, and pulls hard while the transmission is one of the easier to use 3-on-the-tree transmissions weve seen. This Stylemaster is finished in a beautifully elegant dark navy blue color which is appropriately accented by chrome all throughout the exterior. The chrome bumpers, wheel covers, and trim shine bright and look great together with the Coker Tire whitewall tires. Routing exhaust out the rear of the vehicle is twin tailpipes. Inside the vehicle is a reupholstered grey interior that features all replaced VDO gauges. With the replaced interior it doesnt have any of the strange old car smell that many classic vehicles suffer from. The ride is made comfortable with an aftermarket air conditioning system and Mustang II front end. This 1948 Chevy was restored from the ground up and there is the documentation to prove it. There is a photo album that documents a part of the restoration process along with a folder full of receipts and invoices continuing to show the restoration process. Stylemasters are awesome classic vehicles that are always going to gather some attention and adoration. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
