Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1968 Chevrolet C/K 10 recalls can be found in this database. Major Options / Build:
Additional Description: This 1968 Chevrolet C10 pickup has the stance, style, and stroker V8 to be a mean machine. But as you dig into the details - including the custom A/C interior - you see that the sleek black pickup is a thoughtful total build. The first thing you notice is the pickup's black paint. There's a freshness to it because the full restoration was only completed about 2,200 miles ago. It gives this custom truck the kind of shine that signals a nice overall investment. And the lowered stance with polished Eagle alloys announce that this is a powerful machine. It has smoother look by expertly deleting pieces like the bumpers and side trim. In fact, the taillights and license plate are now integrated into the rear roll pan. It really reduces the clutter and lets you see the rounded fender design of these stepside pickups. And since this is full custom build, they even upgraded the lumber in the bed to a glossy oak. Just like the exterior, the interior is custom, upgraded, fresh, and premium. The exterior black returns and now it's joined by a well-placed red. The seat has been upgraded to a reupholstered later mode GM unit. So it matches the interior while also giving you plenty of comfy bolstering. And whenever you're not using the middle jump seat, it's a fold-down armrest for bucket-like comfort. There are more great comfort upgrades like the power windows, tilt steering column, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. But our favorite piece is the dash. It's a custom unit with all your gauges centrally mounted. So you get the clean kind of look that we've seen before on pre-war pickups, but now with the kind of crisp full gauge and toggle switch package that says there's some serious modern muscle under the hood. There's a tidy setup in the engine bay that includes smooth inner walls and cool matte flames on the air grabber. Plus, the bold red V8 block looks like it's radiating power from within the tidy black setup...and that's because it is! This is a 350 cubic-inch crate V8 that was upgraded to a 383 stroker to give you big block displacement in a small block weight. And it's upgraded further with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. If you spotted the Corvette valve covers on the motor, the undercarriage photos show you how this earns them. The independent front suspension is borrowed from a C4 Corvette. Plus, the trailing arm rear end was upgraded, and there are coilovers all-around. Add in the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs, and you have a powerful package that's easy to enjoy on the streets. This is a cool coordinated, and custom pickup. So if you love a vintage truck that has it all, call today!!!
